CDL Standard

  Our Standard program consists of an ELDT online course and Behind-the-Wheel training. 

  Upon enrollment, you will gain access to an ELDT online course on our student portal, CDL PowerSuite.
The course will cover topics such as basic operation of the vehicle, its systems, possible malfunctions, advanced operating practices, and other.
  Upon completion, you will receive a certificate that will be put into FMCSA registry.
  With it, you will be able to take your CLP exam at a local DPS by you.

  After you obtain your CLP (Commercial Learner’s Permit), you will begin your Behind-the-Wheel training with us.
  As opposed to the Express program, the Standard program offers 75 hours of Behind-the-Wheel training.
It is recommended for entry-level drivers, who would like to learn at a slower pace.
You will, first, be taught how to conduct a Pre-trip Inspection and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
Afterwards, you will develop the maneuvering/backing skills necessary to pass the road test.

  Upon completion of the program, you will receive three FMCSA certifications (ELDT, YARD and ROAD) that will qualify you to take the road test.

  You will be given an unlimited amount of tries at the DPS to take the test, in order, to retrieve your CDL (Commercial Driver License)!

  Please note that we have open enrollment all year round!
